The average patient stay is approximately 2-3 hours depending on your procedure.
Although some level of discomfort following your procedure is to be expected, please don’t hesitate to address any concerns or ask any questions of our staff before your discharge. If you are unsure of anything, please ask.
We offer patients light refreshments before leaving the hospital. Following anaesthesia, you should be accompanied home by your carer who should stay with you on the night after your surgery. We recommend that travel back home is by private car or taxi, not on public transport.
You will be given post-surgery instruction information on discharge.
