Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS)
DEH are accredited with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) and submit clinical outcomes data 6 monthly in order to compare and benchmark our care with other Australian facilities.
DEH conducts PMA quality assurance audits to measure the outcomes of clinical and business functions within the group and to ensure compliance against policies, procedures, standards and regulations.
DEH collects Quality Performance Systems (QPS) key performance indicator (KPI) data and conducts audits to measure the outcomes of clinical and business functions against industry standards and to ensure compliance against policies, procedures, standards and regulations.
We track responses to patient satisfaction surveys on an ongoing basis. The survey offers each patient the chance to rate his or her experience with our centre.
Improved healthcare hand hygiene is the highest priority area in Australia to reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections. Regular compliance audits are carried out by DEH and the results reviewed as part of our quality improvement processes and provided to the National Hand Hygiene Initiative for comparison to the national rate.
